I will help you begin to unpack and explore your difficulties. We will work to understand what causes you distress, identify any problematic behaviours, and uncover the deeper emotional issues beneath them. Together, we will build a clear focus for healing and change.
Step 2:
Emotional Healing
Once we have a clearer understanding of what is causing your distress, we can begin the process of emotional healing. This means working with your emotions rather than avoiding or suppressing them. I will help you express and process painful feelings in a safe and supportive way. Through this, we can begin to transform emotional pain, helping you find a sense of relief, self-compassion, and inner strength.
Step 3:
Behaviour Change
Once we’ve gained an inner emotional strength and resilience, we turn towards your behaviours. I will help you learn a more functional way of responding to your emotions—teaching you how to better express your feeling, pain, and needs to others, and how to treat yourself with more compassion, support, and self-advocation.
Step 4:
Consolidation
We reflect on the change work as we go along, checking what works and what needs further attention. We ensure that you are integrating these changes into your life and reflect on any further challenges that arise, so you can move forward with confidence.
